About the Author

Lesley Regan is a midwife at St. Mary's Hospital in Manchester, UK. She has delivered over two thousand babies in her career. She is a passionate advocate for women's health and has been instrumental in developing new ways to improve the care of pregnant women and their babies.

Lesley is the author of several books, including The Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy and The Miracle of Birth. She is also a regular contributor to the BBC and The Guardian.
